Heather Kemp, Illinois native, has been caring for families for decades, starting with her own siblings from a young age. Her affinity for care led her through various customer centric careers, but now she finds her home as a doula.
Heather views the doula profession as a combination of care, support, and ongoing education for families transitioning to parenthood – all areas where she happens to excel!
With a family of her own now established and settled, she is devoted to helping new families have access to the unbiased non-judgmental support they deserve. Heather’s own birth experiences have given her the opportunity to experience various methods and locations for birth, and she has personally experienced what a truly supportive birth team can do for a birthing woman. She now helps others achieve their goals.
Heather is both a childbirth educator and doula. The family who has made her a mother and supports her journey is a team of 5 children, 2 rescue dogs, and 2 rescue cats! Caring for them fills her days when she is not actively helping Longmont area families meet and nurture their babies.
Having Heather as my doula was a Blessing! Not only was she there for me every step of the way, but was there for my husband too. To guide, teach, and support. As a very open minded doula, going over how I wanted my childbirth to go, she helped me make that happen.
